Who would believe that Lake Fairfax County Park is smack in the middle of everything-ten miles from Barb's house and ten miles from Allison's house. The trip was a roaring success!! We had only a few glitches, (1) handling of excess gray water and fresh water replacement. Tom hauled back and forth from the dump station, (2) Guest Suite Bed Bingo. Barb and Ali came for an overnight in preparation for joining us at the Grand Canyon. Barb slept in three of four bunks and Ali in two bunks ending up "up top". The cool outside weather caused the windows to sweat on the sheets. We are working on this situation, but hoping that this will be reversed in the summer months. Then there was that hookup problem where we didn't flip the electric switch on the light pole. All in all, a good first experience with the camper. And then there were the cherry blossoms, in full bloom, at sunrise, on a beautiful day.
Here is the group. And I've added another picture so the reports may contain more than one and we've yet to begin the trip. We hosted three meals, took many walks, I went to Yoga with Ali three times, church with Barb and Ali , Billy cooked us dinner two times and many, many trips to Home Depot. I'm not sure if this is the true camping experience, but it was fun, fun, fun.
